  1. Dear MaxList User !

  3.   In this version of MaxList (v 2.20) I have added some new futures.
  4.   MaxList now also capable to create announcelists.
  5.   The details could be read about in WHATSNEW.220 and MAXLIST.DOC.
  6.  
  7.   The documentation to MaxList can be found in MAXLIST.DOC, TEMPLATE.DOC
  8.   and also in ERRLIST.DOC. A sample config (MAXLIST.CFG) is added.

  11.   IMPORTANT HINTS ABOUT UPDATE OF EARLIER VERSIONS

  14.     1. The config of MaxList 2.20 is NOT compatible to version 1.xx
  15.        and must be overworked complete !
  16.  
  17.     2. The config of versions 2.14 MUST BE overworked at 'OKFile'.

  19.     New Parameter of v2.20
  20.  
  21.         a) In block 'OKFILE' escapes LogoFile.
  22.            This is replaced with 'HeaderFile' and 'FooterFile'.

  24.         b) New Token "MaxIndexFile    <d:\path\file.ext>"
  25.            Maximus indexfile. Only need for announcelists.
  26.  
  27.         c) New Token "EchoTossLog     <d:\path\file.ext>"
  28.            For your Echomailtosser. Only need for announce into Squishbase.

  30.         d) New Token "ClMaxReqIndex   <Yes | No>"
  31.            Descriptionindex for my Requestprocessor CLMAXREQ

  33.         e) New Token "ExternEditor    <d:\path\file.ext>"
  34.            Any editor for working over the descriptions by import
  35.            File_id.diz in manually mode (-M).

  37.         f) New listentyp "Announce"
  38.            Inside this block new Tokens added for write announces to
  39.            your Squishbased echomails. For more info, read the documentation.

  44.       Please copy all files in a directory as you want.
  45.       If suitable, you can copy the templates and the fonts to
  46.       separate directories.
